Hello podcasting person, and welcome to the community 👋
I’m Gareth, and I live in Shepperton in the UK with wife Dani and our dog Flash Gordon (he’s a Jack Russell for you dog lovers 🐶). I was a primary school teacher until 2011, when I became a professional composer for TV. You can read about all that here.
My first podcast was born in 2019 and since then I’ve not stopped. Like most independent podcasters, I listened to all of the gurus, sought advice but stopped short of paying for a course. Why? Because everyone is different. The podcast industry is made up of people just like any other, and after gaining some clients in the podcast space I realised that the people I needed to listen to were the people actually working in the rapidly evolving podcast industry.
That’s when I decided to start Podcasting People, initially as a bite-sized podcast, but with aspirations of bringing people together, whatever their role.
Anyway, enough about me. Where are you from? What brought you here? Do you make a podcast? What’s your role?
Come and share more about who you are in the chat, and let’s get to know each other better.

Wonderful, thanks Hannah I’ll check the show out. Nice to meet you!
Hello Gareth. I found you because of a note you dropped saying you'd updated this page.
I know Lucy and her ankles by the way.
I'm Seraphina. I started my podcast Seraphina Speaks when I was 7. I won an award for it and am now 11. It's social commentary on things we take for granted. I work on the podcast as part of my home education and my mum Danusia is exec producer.
Nice to meet you!
